John 15:4

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

John 15:5

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

John 15:7

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
 
John 15:9

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.

John 15:10

If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.


1 John 4:12

No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

1 John 4:13

By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.

1 John 4:16

And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
 

LOVE is the Commandment.
 
Now lets ask the question: How did Jesus Love us?


Jesus Loved us both with a practical love and a spiritual love.


Practical:

He fed the multitudes, Jesus washed his disciples feet, Jesus healed the sick. Jesus raised the dead. Jesus taught us the Truths of God.

 
Spiritual:

Jesus prayed for us. Jesus bore our burdens upon himself. Jesus delivered us from darkness and evil. Jesus was meek and non-violent. Jesus told us to Love our enemies. Pray for those who use us or persecute us.


Matthew 9:36

But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.


Matthew 14:14

And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.
 

Matthew 15:32

Now Jesus called His disciples to Himself and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now continued with Me three days and have nothing to eat. And I do not want to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.”
 

Matthew 18:33

Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you


Matthew 20:34

So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.


Mark 5:19

However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.”

Luke 7:13

When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.”
 

John 13:34

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

John 13:35 

By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

John 15:12

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

John 15:13

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

John 15:17

These things I command you, that you love one another.


John 17:23

I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
 

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, My peace ve to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.


John 16:33

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
